No. Due to the naturally-occurring caffeine in green coffee and green tea—even the decaffeinated versions used in Energy—there is a small amount of residual caffeine that is unavoidable. Each Energy capsule contains approximately 3mg of caffeine. For reference, a 12-ounce cup of coffee generally contains around 100mg of caffeine, and energy drinks may contain up to 300mg.

We believe that Energy is a good option for people who don’t process caffeine well, and research shows that may be as many as 50% of the population.† Energy does not promote the energy spikes, jitters, and crashes often associated with caffeine, so if you’ve never liked the feeling caffeine gave you, or you didn’t get the results you wanted with it, Energy is worth a try.

enfinity (paraxanthine) has a shorter half-life than caffeine, meaning that it clears your system in less time. enXtra (Alpinia galanga root) has been shown to support alertness for up to five hours (which is roughly the same time that equivalent doses of caffeine last). For those reasons, expect to feel the effects of Energy for approximately five hours for a two-capsule dose. While it shouldn’t negatively impact your ability to sleep, you may want to time your usage so that it’s more than five hours before you turn in for the night.
