Yes, but it’s not the basis for the formula. Fuel contains a mere 20mg of caffeine from coffee beans—less than one-quarter of what is found in a typical 12-ounce cup of coffee—for the sake of helping to trigger a little more fatty acid oxidation.†
Depending on how sensitive you are to caffeine, the dosage in Fuel may be enough to give you some of the mental acuity benefits normally associated with caffeine, but it isn’t likely to impact your sleep. Just to hedge your bets, it’s best not to consume Fuel close to your bedtime.
